Loads to show you

It doesn't seem like it's been over a week since my last visit! Anyway, I've got loads to show you so here goes. We going to the Green Parent meet up this weekend and have to travel by train so I thought JJ could do with a small bag. It's made like my purple shoulder bag and lined with denim.

This is a commissioned card from last week.

I've had another tattoo - the cat was already there, but I've had it re-freshed and all the flowers and bits added. I completely forgot to take a picture before hand!

JJ wanted a new scarf - he picked yellow and orange so I crocheted the two together so it was quicker, then added the fringe onto the ends.

One of the Yule list - a reversible apron for my nephew.

Ten (plus two for me) san pro pockets and inners.

Chamomile soap ready in a few days so I'll hopefully get that in the shop later today. I've got loads to do - it's my Dad's birthday today so I'm making him a cake as he doesn't really do birthdays anymore so I thought this was a good compromise, we shall see. I've also got to get my MILs birthday present ready for Friday as I won't be here - I'm making her a pamper hamper as she's asked for something else for Christmas.
Hope everyone else is enjoying the gorgeous autumn weather and managing to squeeze in some crafty time too.

Drooling :o)

With the money I was given for my birthday in August I decided to treat myself to a new journal. I wanted something to chart my cycle/the lunar cycle - Earthworks Journals were suggested to me by someone on the Green Parent Forum. Oh my, it arrived yesterday, and what a joy it is. All handmade and handbound, The Goddess sits on the front with the lunar phases too - perfectly appropriate for the intended purpose.

Managed to do some sewing too, yipee. I nearly sat and gawked at the tv all evening but I made myself get the machine out and I'm so glad I did. Just got to put the press studs on now then I can get them posted.

I cut the patchouli and orange soap this morning too. This smells sooooo good. I'm hoping to get another lot made today. Hope everyone else manages to do something they like today :o)

Catch-up

I seem to have been gone a few days!!! Only just beginning to feel 'normal' (if there is such a thing) after the new moon. I think it helps that my Dad is stuck in France (dog passport issues) so he's not always on my mind, so to speak. Anyway, the above is what I've been doing today - san pro pockets, needle case covers and a new pin cushion for me, all ready for my sewing machine day on Friday (hubby and the kids are going to see Toy Story 3 so I will have the house to myself).

The last few evenings I've been sat making some new keyrings. I wasn't sure what I wanted to put on them so I started by cutting out the rectangles then just went with what popped into my head!

Last week I went on a wet felting course - very good it was too. I made the above flower and three small balls. When I attempted balls at home I always ended up with a crack on it somewhere - well not anymore.

And, just because there is always a rainbow somewhere............

Sod the housework and the painting!

That's what I told myself this morning! I didn't want these orders on my list any longer so I set to and started on them. See the working conditions I have to put up with ;-) - at least the sun is shining.

One hammock to go in a VW campervan. Measures 40inches across and 70inches long. It is canvas underneath with yellow gingham on the top. There is a 3inch hem, which slides a pole in, on both long lengths which then fit in the camper so the kids can sleep on it. Great fun.

Also made a start on the san pro pockets. Got those finished except for the press studs (which I've ordered as I ran out), so I can make a start on the inners tomorrow.
I also finished the other Myriad kit last night but the cat seems to have run off with it and now I can't find it, grrrr.

A little crafting

A brooch to brighten up my coat for the funeral.

Finally done the san pro order.

A rushed birthday card for my Dad.

I've managed to do a little crafting over the last few days. The funeral was yesterday which went quite well considering the circumstances. A packed Church and a very big VW convoy just showed the amount love for Webbo. We will miss you.

Supplies

Charity shop finds at the top, then a few buttons from a shop on Ebay.
Finished all the san pro (phew) so I can now start on the bags again.

Wonderful friends

Thank you so much Pippa for the gorgeous surprise belated birthday present - it is absolutely gorgeous. Go and see the very talented and generous Pippa on her blog.

A pile of san pro pockets waiting for their inners. Only 10 to go.

Something else for me

.......bunting. Inbetween doing the san pro pockets I decided to make this for my birthday tomorrow - then I can save the blue bunting for the boys. I'm not girly, by a long shot, but sometimes we need something alittle more feminine don't we? Back to the san pro then :-).

One down.....five to go

I've managed some crafting today - woohoooooo. First set of san pro pockets done - only five more to go.

Fabric, bags 'n pads

Well here's the stash of fabric and bits that hubby found in the loft. Included are poppers, binding, stuffing, a cross-stitch that I started years ago and got bored with, a bag full of cotton strips that were leftover from making Aaron a mummy costume with for halloween when he was 7, and a whole load of fabric. All now sorted and amalgamated into the rest of my stuff (which seems to be taking over the living room, bedroom and the kitchen!).

Anyway...onto the reason for my ever-growing stash of crafty items. I'm sure the lovely mama who acquired this order for me won't mind me showing you them before they are despatched. I loved the flower when I did it, and then when I made the owl I loved that even more! They will be sent off tomorrow.

Lastly, the first two of the san pro pockets made for the GP orders. I've made some more templates as well, as I've never made postpartum ones before. Only 23 more to go!
Right, off to make a birthday card now for a birthday tomorrow.
