...when you leave the tear in your jeans...it gets to be sooo big your bum hangs out!! I finally got round to repairing both pairs of jeans yesterday afternoon by using some of the double sheet I got from the charity shop. I figured the holes are so big now I might as well make a feature of them ;o). Both pairs of jeans are so tatty now, but at least they'll last a couple more months.

That usually happens here, I always mean to repair them and then it becomes too late - similarly I patch them.
Ah thanks Shell...two pairs of my jeans have ripped (well, worn out!) at once, I was thinking about what to do with them...now I know! x

Love it! I have some old jeans that I want to make into a skirt, it looks great, the same kind of brightly coloured patch too!
It's usually the knees that go on my jeans and I like putting bright, floral patches on them. Conor ripped the bum on his jeans a while back and I patched them up. I think patches look great!
